JOB DESCRIPTION

For this position, you should be able to effectively manage your project teams work load and quality, timelines, budgets, and tasks within project management software. It is the job of the PM to log all aspects of projects, including all communications, in the project.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in partnership with the Account Managers in communicating overall strategies for clients that lead to successful projects and a satisfying client experience.
  • Maintain relevant certifications and participate in training materials suggested in preparation for effectively completing the project and account work. Learn the systems and software in place for managing the workload.
  • Manage client communication. Lead and prepare agendas and follow up notes for client meetings, including presenting deliverables and campaigns and reports.
  • Keep an accurate track of meeting schedules. 
  • Uncover and report revenue opportunities to the Account Manager for increasing account value and deliverables.
  • Document, articulate, and implement approved strategies with the InVerve teams assigned to each account and project.
  • Be responsible for developing, supervising, and communicating the activity of accounts and projects. Manage the activities, deadlines, budgets, and support materials of creative, technical, and administrative staff as they relate to the work assignments managed by the Employee.
  • Manage vendor relationships in print and other industries from start to finish including outreach, quotes, selection, production, and quality assurance. 
  • Be accountable for quality assurance for deliverables as projects move through editing and approvals. Be aware of brand standards, AP style editing, tone and voice, and other parameters as necessary.
  • Work within the project management software to update all office personnel. Update the project software as needed and communicate changes, deadlines, and updates through the project software system.
  • Analyze results and prepare reporting for clients monthly. Identify opportunities in the metrics. Stay abreast of external trends that affect outcomes (i.e., Google algorithm, Facebook ad platform).
  • Attain the proper approvals from Account Managers and clients for all project deliverables.
  • Revise and implement the company’s marketing as directed by the company.
  • Maintain a minimum weekly billing of 80% of hours worked per day and a productive non-billable minimum of 10%. Produce work as needed per project and analyze the effectiveness of the work produced for clients (including InVerve). Ensure that all time utilized is done with efficiency and purpose.
  • Manage processes and systems to track the workload in the project management software. Interpret, follow, and review documented company processes for potential added effectiveness.
  • Participate in weekly production meetings and report on project statuses.
  • Be a productive and contributing asset in creative project groups and client meetings.
  • Be a good steward of the company and its interests. The employee is encouraged to participate in outside activities on behalf of the company where the company pays membership dues. Some of the activities may fall outside of paid business hours.
  • Maintain a cooperative and respectful relationship with all co-workers and managers.
  • Complete and maintain current software certification and other certifications as needed. New certifications will be required as new software is utilized by the company and clients.
  • Update management on any and all information that is important to the success and growth of the company, its employees, and clients.
  • Be technically inclined and learn new software and skills as needed.
  • Be prepared for client facing interactions with excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Lead the work of a team to achieve all the project goals within the given scope.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA or BS
  • Project management experience (required).
  • Marketing agency experience (preferred).
  • Print vendor management experience (preferred).
  • Basic Adobe creative suite knowledge (preferred).
  • Exceptional organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Analytical thinker and proven problem solver.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate to Lansing: Relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Lansing, MI 48906*

*Note: Training for the first month is in the office. Thereafter, in-office work will be a minimum of three days per week and subject to change at the discretion of management.
